First-Ever SGHL All-Star Weekend

We’re thrilled to announce the first-ever Southern Girls Hockey League All-Star Weekend, taking place Thanksgiving Weekend at the Orlando Ice Den!
This special event celebrates our players’ hard work, teamwork, and love for the game — and marks an exciting milestone for the SGHL community.
All-Star Divisions
The All-Star Weekend will feature 12U, 14U, 16U, and 19U divisions only. 10U teams will continue with their regular season schedule that weekend.
All teams participating in the All-Star events will also play three regular-season games during the weekend.
All-Star Games
Each division will have its own All-Star Game, featuring 15 skaters and 2 goalies per team.
Coaches for the games will come from the top two-ranked teams in the current SGHL standings.
Coaches, please reach out ASAP if you or your staff are unavailable to coach these games.
Each team will select its own All-Star representatives, with a predetermined number of roster spots. Some clubs may receive an extra spot based on current standings.
All selected players will receive a removable SGHL All-Star jersey patch to wear in the games.
Winning teams will take home All-Star Champion T-shirts!
Skills Competition
We’ll also host a Skills Competition open to all girls in the league (12U–19U).Each skater can participate in one event. Sign-ups will take place at the event and will be first-come, first-served.
The five events are:
Fastest Skater
Hardest Shot
Accuracy Shooting
Breakaways
Relay Race (Teams of 4)
Winners in each event will receive Skills Champion T-shirts.
This will be an incredible weekend to bring our players and families together, celebrate the league’s growth, and highlight the amazing talent across our divisions. It’s another big step toward our shared mission — to build an inclusive, encouraging environment that helps young athletes grow both in hockey and in life.
