Girls Shine in 1st Ever SGHL All-Star Skills Competition

Hundreds of players from the 12U, 14U, 16U, and 19U divisions took the ice at the Orlando Ice Den for the inaugural SGHL All-Star Skills Competition, marking a milestone event for the league.
Skaters competed across five marquee events: Fastest Skater, Hardest Shot, Breakaway Shootout, the team-based Puck Handling Relay Race, and Accuracy Shooting.
The 19U division delivered standout performances. Lucky Pucks forward Khloe Rafalowski dominated with wins in both the Breakaway Shootout and Hardest Shot, registering a 65 mph blast. Tampa Crunch’s Carys Wine claimed the Accuracy Shooting title and added a third-place finish in Fastest Skater. Lady Bears skater Autumn Alcabes posted the top Fastest Skater time and anchored her squad to victory in the Relay Race.
Notable performers in younger divisions included Opal and Charlie Rich at 16U, Mackenzie Nut at 14U, and Lillian Weinrich at 12U, each delivering impressive showings in their respective age groups.
